[Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Officials Hold "Special Class" to Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners

Several Dafa practitioners have been persecuted to death in Shuangcheng City including Zhou Zhichang, Wang Jiguo, Zhang Shengfan, Zhao Yayun (female), Wu Baowang, Zang Dianlong, and Zhang Tao.

On July 31, the Communist Party Committee of Shuangcheng City decided to hold a "special class." The city's Party Secretary and Deputy Mayor personally participated and asked various government agencies and work units to strictly monitor every Dafa practitioner. This is an escalation of the persecution of Falun Gong.

[Foshan City, Guangdong Province] The Police Intensify Their Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners

The police in Foshan have escalated their persecution of practitioners, casually arresting them on the street. They fine anyone who practices Falun Gong 1000 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] and send those who do not have money to a brainwashing center.

[Jiutai City, Jilin Province] The Police Arrest Several Falun Dafa Practitioners

On March 12, 2002, eight police officers broke into female practitioner Shi Zhipei's home and dragged her along the ground to a detention center that was over a mile away. The skin on her back skin was severely scraped. Since then she has been illegally sent to a forced labor camp. She is a single mother and has left a 12-year-old daughter at home alone.

On March 14, eight police officers broke into practitioner Bai Minggang's home and arrested his wife. They confiscated 8000 Yuan in cash, a color television, a VCD, and left his 83-year-old mother at home alone. Later when the family members went to the police department and asked for the money back, the police denied having taken it.

Around 10 p.m. on March 12, several police officers broke into practitioner Liu Shu's home at the Hospital for Tuberculosis. In order to resist the persecution, Liu jumped from the second floor and escaped. Now he is living on the streets.

In October 2001, the police broke into practitioner Lu Yaxuan's home at the Hospital for Tuberculosis. She sent forth righteous thoughts to avoid being arrested. Later she too was forced to live on the streets to avoid further persecution. At the end of April 2002, the police again broke into and searched her home, but there was no one home.

The police arrested practitioners Li Yanhua and Lao Lin from their homes in Qingyang County.

On September 17, 2002, the police arrested practitioner Li Wenhua.

The police illegally arrested practitioner Xiao Che at home and sent him to a forced labor camp.

On April 25, 2002, practitioner Lu Yamin was arrested for clarifying the truth. She is now in a forced labor camp.

Li Lianping, Zhu Xiuzhen, and Lu Daixin used to practice Falun Gong but now they are helping the evil to persecute Dafa practitioners and to negatively influence those practitioners who stay at home out of fear.

Several policemen from Jiutan City Police Department who have been persecuting Dafa practitioners have received retribution. Sun Laibao, chief of the Law Section, was sentenced to ten years in prison for accepting a bribe. Two other police officers, including Tian Zhonglin were also sentenced.
