Once my husband and I went to buy some fruit. After we left the vendor we found out that we paid one Yuan short. We went back and made up the difference. The vendor said, "How unusual nowadays to have good people like you!" "I am a Falun Gong practitioner and I will never short change you a penny," I said. She smiled back.

The other day I went shopping for clothing at a street vendor's. The vendor showed me all her merchandize with much enthusiasm. Feeling obliged, I bought something. I told the vendor, "Even though this piece is not very satisfactory, I bought it anyway because you went through so much trouble. I am a Falun Gong practitioner and I am supposed to consider others first; therefore I could not trouble you for nothing. Please remember: Falun Dafa is good! Truth- Compassion-Forbearance is good!" She nodded and said, "Good!"

One day I took a bus. When the bus arrived at a station, a middle-aged woman with crutches got on. I immediately stood up and helped her to sit down on my seat. Her husband said, "It's very kind of you to give her your seat, although you are quite old yourself." I told them, "It's no big deal for me to stand for a while." I also told them that I am a Falun Gong practitioner, and that they must not listen to the lies told on TV to fool the people. I told her before I left, "I hope you can remember, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, Falun Dafa is good!"

Another time I was on a bus I overheard two men repeating the lies fabricated by CCTV about Falun Gong. I told them, "It's absolutely not true. The homicides, suicides and self-immolation are all fabricated lies to defame Falun Gong. The purpose is to fool the people. The media have made lies according to their own political needs. I am a Dafa practitioner. We practitioners don't even want to kill insects and small animals, let alone people. Look around! What Falun Gong practitioners that you know have done that kind of thing?" They seemed to understand. One of them asked me, "We can't repeat the lies again, can we?" I said firmly, "No! You must not believe the lies in the newspaper and TV." They did not talk back.
