Using Logic and Clear Reasoning We Can Easily See Through CCTV Reporters False Reports

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of September 20, 2002, CCTV's Focal Point Interview program broadcast the incident of fifteen Faun Gong practitioners' illegal jail sentence for airing Falun Dafa truth-clarification videos. The practitioners had shown footage about the staged self-immolation incident by tapping into a Changchun City cable TV system. During the program, the host stated that it is illegal for these practitioners to broadcast videos through a public TV channel, for they had interfered with people's regular T.V. viewing.

Have you ever thought about the issue from another perspective? For example, TV stations are state owned. Does this give TV stations and the news media the right to use fake, outrageous reports to delude the public citizenry? To do so, isn't that also a crime? After July 20^th, 1999, almost all TV channels repeatedly broadcast large amounts of slanderous programs against Falun Gong, and even commercials were cut out. Isn't that affecting the people's regular T.V viewing? During the process when the evil attempts to physically destroy tens of millions of people who dare to tell the truth, Falun Gong practitioners are not allowed to appeal, not allowed to hire a lawyer to defend them when they are illegally arrested, not allowed to appeal when wrongly convicted, and they would be deprived of their right to live a normal life as well as personal freedom if they refuse to write a guarantee statement to slander their own faith.

What about the incidents where an eight-month-old baby was detained and then killed along with his mother, and elderly, retired practitioners are forced to do slave labor in camps, where people are subjected to police brutality at every turn, have to endure home invasions, suffer extortion, are tortured and murdered and sent to mental hospitals, all because of their faith in Falun Dafa? The Mainland Chinese media covers up all of these facts. The people have no place to speak out. In such an environment, if practitioner Zhou Runjun and others should be sentenced to 20 years in jail for "usurping" 40 to 50 minutes of the public's time, then how much time has the CCTV taken up during the past three years? How long should those principal offenders' sentence be?

Yet, don't forget that Dafa practitioners are using the medium of television to clarify the truth to the people. It is a benevolent and magnificent feat. CCTV is fooling and deluding the people. They are the most shameless and base. Is it that CCTV is allowed to make fake news while the people are not allowed to speak out the truth? We should know that under unjust treatment, people ought to be allowed to speak. This is a basic human right.

In late August this year, CCTV staged a case in which two phony "Falun Gong practitioners" murdered a hotel maid, and CCTV used this case to slander and libel Falun Gong. Let us analyze this with a calm mind. The logic of CCTV is this: because some people committed murder and claimed themselves to be Falun Gong practitioners, it is Falun Gong's fault, justifying the persecution against Falun Gong. The problem, though, is that you cannot find the phrase "killing people is saving a life" in any Falun Gong books. CCTV cooked this up. On the contrary, we see that Falun Gong strictly prohibits killing of any type, not to mention killing people, a point the practitioners' TV airing also proved. The CCTV news reporter asked, "Cultivators cannot kill a life. Then why do you kill?" That shows that the interviewer from CCTV knows and acknowledges the fact that Falun Gong prohibits killing. At the same time, it also shows this murder has nothing to do with Falun Gong, but for some reason, Falun Gong is severely criticized and blamed for the murder. It is indeed ridiculous for such logic to show up in CCTV. How can anyone believe in such a news media?

In another poorly made Focal Point interview, "Murder Case in Beijing" it was easily obvious that the murderer Fu Yibin was a mental patient, for his words were scrambled and his facial expression was abnormal when he described the process of murder. It is not surprising that a mental patient committed murder, but it is ridiculous to use a mental patient's words to persecute Falun Gong.

In fact, if all of us can analyze the TV programs with a calm and rational mind, then the lies will collapse by themselves.
