Stories from Forced Labor Camps and Detention Centers: Falun Gong Has Become Another Name for "Good People"
(Clearwisdom.net) 1. Trust It was a frequent occurrence for belongings to be stolen in my labor camp. When this happened the
cell head would sternly say: "Search everybody, except Falun Gong practitioners. Search
everybody else." During suppertime one day, I helped one person to obtain her meal from the dining room. The
service personnel of the dining room said, "Don't forget to return the bowl!" The lady who
was with me (also a cell head) threw back a reply without even looking, "Don't worry, she is
Falun Gong." When we walked out of the dining room she said with a smile, "Falun Gong has
become another name for 'good people'." 2. Obtaining the Fa in a Detention Center She was gentle, quiet and elegant. Upon coming to the labor camp, she was mistaken for a Falun
Gong practitioner by other people. Later she told us quietly that she had been arrested because of
her involvement in a financial issue. Before she was transferred to this labor camp, she had met
several Falun Gong practitioners in a detention center and had obtained the Fa. She said with pride,
"I knew it was meant for me to meet you here. Falun Gong is good! I have learned the exercises
and I can recite some Fa!" From then on, she was also under intensified monitoring, and
followed by other prisoners all the time. 3. I Will Look for Falun Gong As Soon As I Get Out The labor camp conducted searches frequently, but we often got help from the prisoners assigned
to monitor us. One time before one of their raids, a prisoner assigned to monitor a practitioner
moved the practitioner's blanket to hide his Dafa books. This way our precious books were protected
again. Many prisoners assigned to monitor us have changed like this one. From contact with us, they have
learned that Dafa practitioners are good people, and so they, one by one, changed from being our
guards to being our protectors! Later, newly kidnapped practitioners brought news to the labor camp that she, the prisoner who
had helped the practitioners, had started to practice Falun Gong. I believed the news without any
doubt, because when she was released, she said to us soberly, "I will look for Falun Gong as
soon as I get out!" 4. I Will not Oppose Falun Gong Any More There was an 18-year-old drug addict. She was always ferocious with us. One morning she again
interfered with my sending forth righteous thoughts. Without hesitation I erected my hand, and I saw
a skeleton figure over her head, behind her by about two meters, disappear. Later she told me,
"Aunt, I will listen to what you told me. I will not oppose Falun Gong any more. At night you
can come to my bed to meditate; the guard cannot see you there." 5. What I Respect the Most is Falun Gong There was a prisoner cell head who, before she was released, held my hand and said, "To be
honest, Falun Gong is what I respect the most! Every one of you practitioners is like this,"
and saying so she raised her thumbs, "Great!" Earlier, she used to do bad things, like
taking away our books. Sept. 23, 2002
