Texas: Falun Gong practitioners Attend the McGregor Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 21, 2002, practitioners from Houston, San Antonio and Austin attended the grand annual City Establishment parade. A few dozen organizations with thousands of people joined the parade.

Falun Gong practitioners' procession attracted much attention. Their bright golden yellow exercise suits, paper windmills imprinted with "Falun Dafa is good" and the dance team's graceful performance won rounds of applause. Spectators vied for each other to ask for Dafa truth-clarifying materials. We often heard people saying, "So beautiful!" Some people said, "When you passed by, we feel very comfortable and peaceful."

After the more than one hour parade, we held a photo exhibition. Many visitors stopped at our booth, lingering around and looking at the posters that were placed in front of the booth. The posters depicted the worldwide spread of Falun Dafa and the persecution practitioners encountered in China. This was the first time many visitors had heard about Dafa and the facts of the persecution. Some people became very interested in Dafa and wanted to learn and practice Falun Gong. Meanwhile, they also expressed their deep sympathy and support toward Falun Gong. They wished that the persecution would be stopped as soon as possible.
