Houston Practitioners Hold Journey of Falun Dafa Photo Exhibition in front of Houston City Hall (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Journey of Falun Dafa Photo Exhibition was successfully held in front of Houston City Hall from September 24 to 27, 2002. The collection of photos provides an introduction to Falun Dafa and portrays the magnificence and compassion of Falun Dafa, its wide spreading in over fifty countries and areas, and the truth of the brutal persecution practitioners have been suffering in China.

The photo exhibition attracted many staff members of the city government, including security officers, as well as many people from other buildings. People were shocked at the pictures depicting the cruelties of the Jiang regime. They could not believe that this beneficial practice of mind and body could be subjected to such brutal persecution. Many signed their names on the cards to President Bush calling for his help to end the persecution of Falun Gong. Some people expressed their interest in learning the exercises and inquired about local practice sites.

On the third day of the exhibition, two reporters from a Spanish TV station stopped by on their way to film a program. A reporter expressed great interest in the photos and looked at each one attentively. Practitioners gave her a detailed introduction to Falun Dafa.

The last day of the exhibition was on Friday. When the exhibition was about to come to a close, a staff member of the city government told us that he had observed us for quite a few days. He said he had viewed all the photos and reviewed the materials we gave him. He expressed his sympathy toward the practitioners persecuted in China and his anger over the Jiang regime's brutality. He offered many suggestions for improving the effect of our photo exhibition. We were very grateful for his kindness and sense of justice.
