Righteous Thoughts Defeat Persecution from the "610 Office"

(Clearwisdom.net) One night I was picked up while distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials, and was detained at a local police station. On that same night, a person who claimed to be the director of the "610 Office" [The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] came to talk to me. I recited Master's articles in my mind and refused to cooperate with the evil persecution. I did not tell him my name and address no matter how hard he worked on it. I experienced the typical five steps of how the "610 Office" personnel treat Falun Gong practitioners.

Step one: Being nice. At first, in order to make me cooperate, he pretended to be very nice to me, letting me sit down and offering me something to drink.

Step two: Manipulation. After he failed to make me tell him my name, he started to try to manipulate me with his logic. I was never moved at all. According to his logic, being "Truthful" meant I had to cooperate with their unwarranted demands.

Step three: Cursing. Once he failed in step two, he started to curse me with the most malicious and disgusting words. I still was not moved at all.

Step four: Threatening. He said, "You are nothing compared to the other ones that I defeated before. It will only increase the charges against you if you don't tell us anything. I have sent countless practitioners to the nearby forced labor camps. Do you want to try that route?" I still smiled and did not say a word.

Step five: Beating. After he failed in all the previous steps, he was really upset. He raised his arm high up in the air and beat my head heavily. I felt numb for a while, yet I just smiled.

During my interaction with such evil, I kept righteous thoughts all the time and was not moved no matter what happened. In the meantime, I kept a calm heart and a smile on my face with a Dafa cultivator's benevolence and kindness, because I knew this was what the evil was most afraid of. As a result, they failed to get any information from me and released me at noon on the next day. I came back to the Fa-rectification process with dignity and honor.
