During my mother's illegal detention, I was forced by the police to write a "Repentance Statement" [A statement to acknowledge remorse for practicing Falun Gong, to give up Falun Gong, and to never again associate with people who practice Falun Gong and/or go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong] for my mother. I hereby solemnly declare immediately null and void all that I signed on my mother's behalf.

After July 20^th, 1999, since I didn't want to lose my job, I guaranteed that my parents would not go to Beijing to appeal by signing a so-called "Guarantee Statement." Now I'm very supportive of my parents in regard to practicing Dafa. Falun Dafa heals people's illnesses and keeps them fit. It teaches people "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance," and to be good people.
