Switzerland: Dafa Practitioners' Information Booth at the Fribourg Health Exposition is Very Popular (Photos)

From November 8 to 10, Falun Gong practitioners in Switzerland were for the first time invited to attend the Fribourg Health Expo held in the central hall at the "Fribourg Forum". The booth greatly interested the visitors and was highly praised by the organizers. During the Expo, the Falun Gong information booth was one of the most positively received booths. Hundreds of people eagerly signed up to attend free Falun Gong workshops.

On December 3, last year, when the City of Fribourg celebrated its first Falun Dafa Day, the Expo organizers happened to see a group of Falun Gong practitioners doing the exercises. They were immediately attracted to the elegant movements of Falun Gong exercises and decided right away to invite the Switzerland Falun Gong practitioners to join the 2002 Health Expo.

On November 8, when the Falun Gong information booth exhibited for the first time at the Fribourg Health Expo, it immediately drew people's attention. During the 3-day exposition, visitors came one after another. A crowd of visitors always surrounded the booth. The Falun Gong information booth became one of the most visited and most noticeable booths. Practitioners fully utilized the booth and the empty space nearby to continuously demonstrate Falun Gong exercises accompanied by the euphonic exercise music. A practitioner who is good at calligraphy wrote in Chinese "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" for hundreds of visitors free of charge, and was warmly welcomed. Many visitors chatted with practitioners in front of the booth to learn the facts about Falun Gong. They eagerly signed the guest book. Two ladies who had attended the exposition last year passed by a group of practitioners who were practicing the Falun Gong exercises. They were deeply impressed by the peaceful and serene atmosphere. They said with deep feelings that the atmosphere of the expo this year was much different from that of last year. Many people expressed their interest in learning Falun Gong. During the short few days, hundreds of people, including a few Parliament Members signed up to attend the free Falun Gong workshops.

On the afternoon of November 10, the expo organizing committee especially arranged a Falun Gong public lecture. A professional therapist who is also a Falun Gong practitioner gave a presentation on a special topic, "Falun Gong's Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance and Health", which was highly praised by the attendees. Two Parliament Members from Geneva and Fribourg, respectively, came to attend the public lecture. They also went to the Falun Gong information booth to talk with practitioners and once again expressed their support for Falun Gong.

After the expo, the committee of judges appraised the Falun Gong information booth as "the most visited booth with the most peaceful atmosphere." The sponsors gladly told Falun Gong practitioners, "We welcome you back next year!"
