(Clearwisdom.net) On the bright and sunny Sunday morning of November 17,
2002, Falun Dafa practitioners traveled to the city of Durham to show the people
there the wonderful practice of Falun Dafa.
Having traveled from Scotland and different parts of England, all were keen
to share the kindness and warmth developed through our practice of Falun Dafa
with each other and with the people of Durham.
In a small square in Durham city center, we set up a stall with Falun Dafa
booklets, flyers and video-Cd's, and we displayed some large posters about the
practice and the persecution practitioners have endured in China.
Using an exercise demonstration tape that included an introduction to Falun
Dafa and an explanation of each exercise, some practitioners practiced the
exercises while others handed out flyers and talked to interested members of the
public.
Two girls sat and watched for some time, one of them said we looked so
peaceful and happy as we practiced. They were particularly touched to see a
young girl practicing the exercises.
It was a happy day for us all to share such a beneficial and peaceful
practice in a city that had not seen Falun Gong before, and also to let people
know that the practice is being viscously persecuted without reason.
