The "610 Office" Illegally Sold My Personal Belongings After Sending Me to a Forced Labor Camp
(Clearwisdom.net)
[Note: The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to
persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in
the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.]
I am a Falun Gong practitioner from the rural area of Liaoning Province. In
1998, my wife and I started to practice Falun Gong and we benefited tremendously
both mentally and physically.
In 1999, Jiang's regime started to brutally persecute Falun Gong. I made a
decision to appeal to the central government in Beijing. I was arrested
illegally, sent back, and detained for 5 days. The police forced my family
members to bail me out for 1,000 Yuan. Ever since, police agents often
came to my home to harass me. In October of 1999, I was abducted again by the
police and detained for 135 days. They only released me after forcing my family
members to pay 3,000 Yuan for bail and 2000 Yuan for "living expenses."
After I returned home, I continued to practice Falun Gong. I knew that it was
not wrong to be a good person according to the principles of Truthfulness,
Compassion, and Tolerance. There were many practitioners that went to Beijing to
appeal to the central government on an on-going basis. They were arrested, sent
to labor camps, sentenced to jail terms and even tortured to death. This was the
evil trampling truth, righteousness and good conscience. For this reason my
wife, my parents and I went to Beijing to appeal again on October 22, 2000. We
were arrested, and I was illegally sentenced to 3 years of labor camp
"re-education." In the forced labor camp, the guards used all kinds of lies and
tricks to deceive and threaten us. During our detainment, our personal
belongings from home such as provisions, carts, cows and other valuables were
auctioned by the "610 Office" for about 10,000 Yuan.
I appeal to the United Nations and all kind-hearted people of the world to
help stop this unconscionable persecution.
