Dafa Practitioner Que Fazhi from Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province Dies from Persecution by the Beijing Police
(Clearwisdom.net) Que Fazhi, female, 49 years old, was a resident in Shuitang
Village, Panlian Town, Miyi County in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province. On June 1, 2002, Que Fazhi went to Beijing to appeal and was arrested by
Beijing police on June 3. She was sent back to Miyi County Police Department
after being detained over twelve days in Beijing. She was brought back home when
she was on the verge of death and died on October 30, 2002. While she was detained in Beijing, the police took her to a strictly guarded
basement room every day and used an unknown instrument to torture her. The
police claimed they were giving her a physical examination. By the time she was
sent back to the local police department in the middle of June, she had lost the
ability to take care of herself. When she was sent home on June 28, her whole
body was swollen; she had difficulty breathing and could not sleep. She was in
extreme pain until she passed away on October 30, 2002. Que Fazhi started to practice Falun Gong in 1996. Before her cultivation, she
had many diseases. After cultivating in Dafa, she regained her health, strictly
adhered to the standards of a Dafa practitioner, cultivated her mind with
"Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," and tried to be a good person
at all times and all places. She received high praise from her relatives,
friends and neighbors. After July 20, 1999 [when the persecution of Falun Dafa started],
she went to Beijing twice to peacefully appeal for Dafa, and for this and for
distributing truth-clarification materials, she was illegally imprisoned many
times. In the beginning of 2002, she was forced to become homeless to avoid
further persecution by the local police department.
