Practitioners in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province Call for International Human Rights Organizations to Pay Close Attention to Ms. Liu Ying's Suffering

(Clearwisdom.net)

Dear Kind-Hearted Friends of International Human Rights Organizations,

Greetings to you all!

We are Falun Dafa practitioners from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China. One of our fellow practitioners is suffering persecution and her basic human rights have been violated. We sincerely ask for your help.

Her name is Liu Ying and she is about 30 years old. She had no other choice but to leave home in fear of illegal arrest for her insisting on practicing Falun Dafa. Though the life of being destitute and homeless was very hard, she still kept regular communications with her husband and frequently spent time with her child. Under extreme pressure by his parents and elder brother, her husband decided to divorce her [in order to avoid bringing persecution to himself and his family.] Liu Ying returned home since she missed her two-year old child. The local police station abducted her and locked her up. She protested by holding a hunger strike. When she came home, her husband forced her to have a divorce and obtained a divorce agreement by illegal means. With the assistance of her husband, Fuhe administrative office of Ximenshiren Community illegally detained her for a long period of time. Prior to the opening ceremony of the Party's sixteenth congress, Fuhe administrative office took her to her new residence in Qinglongchang (where no one had lived) and sent two women and one man to keep watch on her by living with her. She is not allowed to leave her home freely. It is said that each of those who are watching her will be rewarded 500 Yuan.

We sincerely ask you to give us help. Please ask assistance from International Women Organizations for Liu Ying. We hope that you would pressure the Chinese authorities to stop their oppression and the devastation of its own people.
