United Kingdom: Practitioners Clarify the True Situation on International Human Rights Day (Photos)

On December 10, 2002, International Human Rights Day, Falun Dafa practitioners in the United Kingdom gathered in front of London's Chinese Embassy. At 10:30 AM, they held a press conference there. Afterwards, practitioners carried out a 3-hour parade on the busiest streets of London. The parade concluded at 10 Downing Street where the Prime Minister's Office is located. Practitioners delivered a petition letter to the Prime Minister's Office. After sending forth righteous thoughts as a group, some practitioners went to Chinatown and others went to the Chinese Embassy to practice and introduce Falun Dafa.

At the press conference, UK Falun Dafa Association spokesman, Mr. Peter Jauhal and vice president of European Friends of Falun Gong Mr. John Dee, delivered speeches condemning the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners over the past few years. United Kingdom Parliament member Dr. Ladyman and other government officials also issued supportive statements.

During the parade, practitioners held in hands different kinds of banners which attracted many tourists' attention. Some practitioners actively distributed Dafa truth-clarifying flyers along the route. In Chinatown, most Chinese people were gradually awakening and were willing to accept Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Many passersby stopped to look at the photo posters. People are gradually coming to understand about the truth of Dafa. UK practitioners will continue to strive forward.
