A Story of Good Being Rewarded with Good

(Clearwisdom.net) My hometown has a population of more than 5,000 people. In 1998, my wife and I obtained the Fa. In April 1999, when we went back to visit my hometown, we spread Dafa to our friends and relatives there.

In July 1999 when Jiang's regime started persecuting Dafa practitioners, my younger sister-in-law tried to persuade my older sister-in-law to burn all Dafa books to avoid persecution. Though my older sister-in-law could not read, she firmly refused to burn the books, saying, "I am not afraid." The books were preserved because of her courage.

In October 2002, we went back to visit my hometown again. My younger sister-in-law told us that during the severe flood in 2001, my older sister-in-law's house was not flooded at all though it was only 30 meters away from the river. My eldest niece told us it was like a miracle that the floodwater stopped at about three meters away from their house. This miraculous story was well known in my hometown. We told them the reason why: all good deeds will be rewarded with good.
