Falun Dafa Practitioner Shen Shuyan from Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province in Coma from Beating by Police

Shen Shuyan, a Falun Dafa practitioner in her 30s, lives in a village in Funing County, Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province. She was illegally arrested in Beijing where she went to appeal for Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999. Because she refused to reveal her name and address, the Seventh Division of Beijing Public Security Bureau detained her for more than two months.

Shen and a few hundred other Falun Dafa practitioners resisted the evil persecution and were severely tortured with many methods. Policemen injured her eyes. Instead of stopping the torture, the policemen escalated it by hanging the practitioners with handcuffs 24 hours a day while torturing them with various instruments. Realizing that all the torture methods failed to work, the policemen locked a few Falun Dafa practitioners in a freezer.

After two months' detention, the evil policemen lied to Shen Shuyan saying that she would be released, but actually she was taken to the Detention Center of Funing County for further persecution by the Public Security Bureau of Funing County. She was eventually released without any prerequisites. Her steadfast validation of the Fa has encouraged many other practitioners to step forward for Dafa.

Shen Shuyan was illegally sent to the Labor Education Center of Kaiping District for brainwashing in 2001. Through the tremendous pressure and despicable lies, she was led astray. After she was released, she realized that she had been deceived by the brainwashing, and came out again to validate the Fa. This last time, when the policemen captured her, they beat her until she fell into a coma.

We sternly warn those perverse policemen, "Your wicked conduct will surely be punished by the heavenly law and justice!"
