Witnessing the Divine Power Of Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) In "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston" Teacher talked about the vicious situation in mainland China:

"But even so, it's actually because the old forces insist on testing Dafa disciples' xinxing that they've done this. That's definitely the case. If it weren't, this definitely wouldn't have happened. The best way to deal with this situation is for Dafa disciples to walk their paths righteously, to try their best not to let the evil or the old forces take advantage of their gaps, and to solidify their righteous thoughts."

I would like to share a few of my experiences in the cultivation of Fa rectification.

During this past Chinese New Year, a practitioner in my hometown was arrested while distributing truth clarification materials. Because of fear, he disclosed my name and other local practitioners' names.

When I heard the news I was a little disturbed, but I immediately remembered the teaching:

"If you are a true practitioner, our Falun will safeguard you. I am rooted in the universe. If anyone can harm you, he or she would be able to harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this universe." (Zhuan Falun)

At the time I only had one thought: "believe". I held one palm erect and eliminated all the evil and rotten demons in the area. I also asked help from Teacher to stop them from going elsewhere to interfere with other practitioners. Practitioners also helped send forth righteous thoughts continuously for three days and nights. Because all practitioners acted as one whole body plus my strong righteous thoughts, the police in my hometown did not come to persecute me; instead, they only telephoned the police station in my area.

In order to verify the situation, the police station in my area sent two policemen to my house. Because I had very strong righteous thoughts, I just answered the door saying: "You came to the wrong place." I then closed the door and sent forth righteous thought and asked Teacher's help to drive the policemen away. I continued to send forth righteous thoughts, and soon they left.

Two days later, a practitioner who had escaped from a certain area wanted to stay in my house. I sent forth righteous thoughts all the way when taking the practitioner home. Because the escaped practitioner had strong sentimentality and called his family, I was exposed once again. I did not blame or hate him; I kept my mind pure and sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. The evil could not take advantage of our gap. They only investigated the Housing Committee. Because I had clarified the truth to the members of Housing Committee in the past, their understanding side did not cooperate with the vicious ones.

Through this incident, I am fully enlightened to Teacher's words:

"Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos's Truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies, it frightens all evil, and the light of Truth it emanates makes the unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate. However strong the righteous thoughts are, that's how great the power is." ["Also In A Few Words" from Essentials for Further Advancement II]
