Police Officers in Hebei Province Violently Beat and Murder Falun Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners from Fengnan City, Hebei Province, have all benefited from Dafa. As a result of practicing Falun Dafa, they have become virtuous and healthy and their families are harmonious. No matter where they are, they conduct themselves in accordance with the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. Since Jiang's regime started persecuting Falun Dafa, practitioners who personally benefited from Dafa have stepped forward to clarify the truth about Dafa to the government and the public. They use their personal experiences to validate that Falun Dafa is good. Unfortunately, they are wrongfully imprisoned in detention centers and forced labor camps, and even sentenced to long jail terms.

In the Fengnan Municipal Detention Center, there are over 20 Falun Dafa practitioners who firmly believe in Dafa. They have endured ruthless persecution by the brainwashing center there. Over the two months of May and June in 2001, Dafa practitioners were exposed to the scorching sun for extended periods of time. They were also forced to run, squat, or stand at attention every day, even if it was raining. Even the practitioners who were injured by previous torture were also forced to do all of these. In addition, the police officers insult and curse the practitioners while they are suffering. Falun Dafa practitioners are not allowed to speak up for themselves. If they do, they are violently beaten. All of the more than 20 practitioners have been severely beaten and tortured. But none of the tortures have been able to move the Dafa practitioners' hearts.

In the Fengnan Municipal Detention Center, the wrongfully detained practitioners who would not give in have all encountered the brainwashing center's inhuman torture and beatings.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Liu Deyi, 45, was from Dongtianzhuan Village, Fengnan City. Before he obtained Dafa, he had suffered from a number of illnesses. After he started practicing Falun Dafa, he became both physically and mentally healthy. He personally benefited from Dafa. Therefore, he resolutely determined not to write the "guarantee statement" [renouncing Falun Dafa]. He was ruthlessly tortured by Li An and other officers from the brainwashing center. Eventually, he was tortured to death. After he passed away, the brainwashing center rigorously blocked the news of his death to prevent others from knowing about their criminal acts. They even threatened Mr. Liu's family members with the charges of "reactionary family" or "against the government" if they appealed to a higher court. As a result, Liu's family has not been able to redress the injustice of Mr. Liu Deyi's murder.
