You might have numerous questions regarding issues such as the "self-immolation" incident, "killing people", the "incident" at Zhongnanhai, "refusing to take medicine when ill" and "accumulating wealth by crooked means," etc. [editor's note: these are all instances of the propaganda widely spread by Jiang's regime to defame Falun Gong] Are these all true? Why have Falun Gong practitioners gone to Beijing and Tiananmen Square? Why do they clarify the truth? Why?

You may not know that from 1992 to 1999, tremendous evidence has proven that Falun Gong has brought happiness and peacefulness to hundreds of millions of families. Even since the persecution started in July 1999, until today in November 2002, Falun Gong has been warmly welcomed in over fifty countries around the world. But in China, tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are being illegally held in labor camps and jails. Over five hundred Falun Gong practitioners have been ruthlessly tortured to death. Many Falun Gong practitioners have lost their jobs or have been expelled from their schools and have been forced to leave their homes to avoid being persecuted further. Additionally, hundreds of millions of family members, good friends and colleagues have been implicated. What is even more unfortunate is that the state-run media in Mainland China have concealed the facts, and their lies have sown fear and hatred in many people's hearts.

It is under this severe situation that we have resorted to adopting all possible means to clarify the complete truth to all kind-hearted people destined to hear it. We do not expect you to do anything for us after you learn about the truth. We only hope that you will no longer be deceived and that in your hearts you can solidly maintain a sense of right and wrong.

We live frugally to save money so that we can produce these truth-clarifying materials. We hope you will treasure them. We strive to help you understand the truth and the danger that we are facing is much more than you can imagine. Many practitioners have died just for doing this. Like you, they have their own personal lives, which includes relationships with their children, their parents and their siblings. Please don't say that this kind of persecution has nothing to do with you, and please don't say that you don't care for this kind of sacrifice. You see, what they are doing reflects the most precious of virtues: a clear sense of justice, a kind heart, and unselfish concern for others.

We believe that you will distinguish what is right from what is wrong, and determine the truth from the lies. After you learn about the truth, if you can choose to clarify the truth to your family members and good friends so that they may not be deceived, you are actually bringing them the most beautiful future, since evil can never ultimately defeat the righteous in the universe. Righteousness will last forever in the world and kind-hearted people will be rewarded with good fortune in the end.

Please keep "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" in your heart. It is certain that man does not have just one life. It is an everlasting principle that "good actions will be rewarded with good returns and evil actions will be met with evil returns."
