All People at My Work Place Know: "Falun Dafa Is Good"

(Clearwisdom.net) The Party secretary (Executive Officer) in charge of our workplace is a lady 20 years my senior. She always took me along on her business trips and would consistently praise me in front of other people. She would say things like, "She is quiet. I prefer to bring her along on my business trips. We have a wonderful working relationship. How come such a good person practices Falun Gong? What a shame!" I knew that she had been deceived by the propaganda, so I would correct her, "There is nothing wrong with Falun Gong. I became who I am because I practice Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners are all good people." She did not believe me, no matter what I said.

Whenever I had chance, I would clarify the truth to her. At first, she would argue with me, but gradually she came to see the truth. One day she asked me to show her the Falun Gong exercises. Afterwards she commented, "The movements are beautiful."

She and I once went to Beijing to visit her old colleague who used to work as a manager in our company. When he saw me, he tried to persuade me to give up Falun Gong. With a smile, I told him that we did nothing wrong and Falun Gong is very good. I also told them that the self-immolation incident in Tiananmen Square as portrayed on TV was a hoax, set up by some people in power to defame Falun Gong. He became quite nervous and interrupted me, "I know now. Please stop talking about it." On our way back to the hotel, the Party secretary said, "Guess what he told me? He asked me not to report your words to upper management so you will stay away from trouble. Isn't he a nice person? I told him, 'I am not that kind of person who backstabs friends.'"

When police were searching for a fellow practitioner's cell phone number, they discovered my number, so I was arrested. In the detention center I started a hunger strike, to demand an unconditional release. I also clarified the truth to the policemen. A guard tried to persuade me to eat. I said, " I will not eat unless you let me out. Although I don't want to fast, I have no other way to protect my rights. I am not a criminal." Dismayed by my determination, the guard said reluctantly, "I did not say you (Falun Gong practitioners) are criminals. We never said that those of you detained here are guilty of anything, but the country is under this situation (of persecution). If you get out of here and practice Falun Gong in front of me, I won't arrest you however, I don't have the power to release you. It's up to the police station that sent you here." Because I resisted the evil's persecution, and they found no evidence of my wrongdoing, they released me after my fifth day of the hunger strike.

After I got out of detention I continued clarifying the true situation to people. I told my coworkers how the police mistreated Dafa practitioners. They were all very shocked. Once I overheard Miss Jiang telling our director, "Who can say Falun Gong is no good? Whenever the bathroom gets dirty, so and so (protecting my name) always voluntarily cleans up everything without saying a word." The director replied, " Yes, Falun Gong is pretty good. She is a good girl."

People at my workplace work no longer talk negatively about Falun Gong. Some even tell people from other divisions about the truth of Falun Gong. Sometimes strangers from other divisions come and talk to me. Once a group of people from another division smiled at me while saying, "Falun Dafa is good." Before that, I never talked to them.

Once the management asked me to issue a statement to give up Falun Gong, I refused. A Party secretary came to persuade me. I took the opportunity to tell him the true situation. Afterwards he admitted, "Even I know that in truth, all Falun Gong practitioners are good people. A close friend of mine is a practitioner."
