The Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners at the Shifanfuxiao Elementary School

Female Dafa practitioner Zhang Liyan, 45, is a teacher at the Shifanfuxiao Elementary School in Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang Province. Because of her belief in Falun Dafa, the school extorted 3,000 Yuan (500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China) from her. Then they extorted another 2,000 Yuan on a different occasion. The authorities have kidnapped her three times. The school principal, He Guilan, Party Secretary Zhao Dan and four policemen from the Shuangshan Police Station kidnapped her the third time. They took her to the detention center and still have not released her.

Female Dafa practitioner Jiang Shuling, 53, is a teacher at the Shifanfuxiao elementary school in Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang Province. Because she refused give up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, on October 27, 2000, policeman Wang Dianchun, along with Zou from the First Section of the City Public Safety Department, the school principal He Guilan, and Party Secretary Li Xiuping kidnapped her. They took her to the detention center, where they imprisoned her illegally for 52 days. Policeman Jiang Daohong extorted 1,000 Yuan from her family. Because of the ill treatment at the detention center, she developed severely swollen lymph nodes in her right leg, and was not able to walk for more than three months after being released. Despite her condition, policeman Wang Dianchun, Liu Mian, and six others, broke into her home by knocking down the front door in broad daylight. However, they couldn't find her at that point. Then at around 4 a.m. on May 2, 2002, with no regard for legal procedures, over a dozen people rushed into her home, forcibly carried her to a police van, and detained her for 15 days. Then again at around 3 pm one afternoon during the 16th Party Congress, the school Party Secretary Zhao Dan, school principal He Guilan, policemen Liu Mian and Zhao Gang, and several others from the Lixin Police Station forcibly kidnapped her and took her to the police station. After she was released, they tapped her home phone, and policeman Liu Mian went to her home every day to harass her. In addition, the Jianshan District Party Secretary Wang Yu illegally held a brainwashing class. She felt she had no choice but to leave home and go from place to place in order to avoid further persecution.

The Persecution of Dafa Practitioners at the Guangming Elementary School

Falun Dafa practitioner Ma Yuzhi, 60, female, is a teacher at the Guangming Elementary School in Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang Province. Because she refused to give up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, the school principal Wang Yulan and the Party Secretary Gan Mei extorted 6,000 Yuan from her. Her salary was also suspended.

One afternoon, during the 16th Party Congress, the school Party Secretary Gan Mei, the school principal Wang Yulan and a number of policemen arrested Ma Yuzhi, her daughter, her four-year-old granddaughter, and another practitioner who was visiting her. After taking them to the Lixin Police Station, they illegally ransacked her home. They stole 100 Yuan, her cell phone, and her pager, and took 2,500 Yuan that belonged to the other practitioner. Ma Yuzhi has been illegally held in the detention center for more than half a month.
