Steadfast Righteous Thoughts Destroy Police Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) At around 3 pm on October 29, 2002, I was at my workplace. A group of policemen led by Zhang Liang from the Tonglan County "National Security" brigade in Chongqing searched my office but didn't find anything. Then policemen Zhang Liang, Li Yonghong, Luo Yonghong, and Li Henyi forced me into a police car, and drove me to the county detention center. They also searched my home and took away CDs, Falun Gong exercise tapes, and the book Zhuan Falun.

I work very hard in my position and do not complain, I never ask for overtime pay, and am not concerned that my salary is 300-400 Yuan lower than other employees of my rank. So why do the policemen come to arrest me?

On the way to the detention center, I kept on shouting "Falun Dafa is Good," and "Anyone persecuting an innocent, good person will get karmic retribution." Luo Yonghong grabbed my neck, but I still shouted. They could not stop me. Upon arriving at the detention center, I was handcuffed. I asked Teacher to empower me and deny the arrangements made by the old forces. I recited the Fa-rectification formulas by Teacher for more than one hour even though the police tried to stop me. They closed the door and opened it again. They said hearing the formulas made them uneasy so they left their offices one after another until nobody was left.

I was detained in room no.5 where I started a hunger strike. I discussed with two fellow practitioners Zhang and Yu who were also detained: this is not where we should be. The evil is persecuting us. We should leave this place with our righteous thoughts. The second day Yu started a hunger strike together with me. We recited Teacher's new articles, and taught the people in the same room to sing the song "Falun Dafa is Good." One of them had a headache, but after she sang "Falun Dafa is Good" a few times, her headache went away. We also made use of lunchtime to clarify the truth of Dafa to other detained people.

On November 1, 2002, deceived by the policemen, my husband came to persuade me to eat, saying that if I refuse to eat, I would be sent to a forced labor camp. I was afraid of being sent to a forced labor camp, and ate some noodles in the evening. But, my stomach made noises for a whole night. I realized I should stay on the hunger strike. So the second morning I resumed my hunger strike again and was determined to be steadfast.

At around noon on November 5, police head Zhang Liang came with a group of other policemen to feed me forcibly. In my heart, I asked for help from the Teacher. Before they inserted a tube into my mouth, I warned, "I cannot accept a forced feeding. You will be legally responsible if you cause any harm to me." Zhang Liang said, "Don't listen to her, just force feed her." They inserted their tube, and mistakenly shoved it into my lung, I could not breathe or talk. The force-feeding made my lung bleed and blood run out from my mouth, they then stopped feeding me and installed an oxygen tube on me. As soon as I recovered my breath, I said, "You poured food into my lung." Zhang Liang denied this. In the county hospital, Zhang Liang asked doctors to write a false report to prove the food was not fed into my lung. He spread rumors by saying that I had a heart attack because of practicing Falun Gong. They sent me back to the detention center, removed the oxygen tube, and put me back in room 5. But in one minute, I had difficulty in breathing accompanied by extreme pains in my chest, vomiting blood, and my lips became dark colored. People in the same room reported my situation to the policemen; they sent me back to the county hospital.

After being diagnosed, doctors could not find my pulse or any blood pressure. Then my husband came. Afraid of taking any responsibility, the policemen handed me to my husband. Doctors told my husband, "This person is in critical condition. She needs emergency care." They also sent out a "critical condition notice." In the emergency care room, my blood was checked and the report showed a "poisoned by acid" (caused by injury to my lung and from the lack of oxygen). At that moment, I didn't think of myself, I told the nurses about the truth of Dafa, a young nurse said, "I've got it." When I came out of the emergency room, I was still in critical condition. To avoid the murderous hands of evil people, I asked them to let me go home.

After going back home, I resumed the Fa-study and doing the Falun Gong exercises. Each time I read a chapter of Zhuan Falun or did the five sets of exercises, I would recover a little bit. It was very hard for me to restore the practice again at the beginning, but I overcame the difficulties. Ten days later, I was healthy and back to normal again. Once more, Teacher had given me a new life; my heart is full of gratitude to Teacher Li.
