Personal Accounts of Clarifying the Truth to Chinese People in an Airport (Part III)

(Clearwisdom.Net) The international airport is one of the important places where we can expose Jiang's regime persecuting Falun Gong and clarify the truth to the precious Chinese people face to face. Our Falun Dafa practitioners have persisted in clarifying the truth here for one and half years. The following are some stories of their efforts.

Once I met a group of eight to nine people from Mainland China. They were waiting for a security inspection.

Full of smiles, I immediately came up and handed a gentleman some Falun Dafa material, "Sir, would you like some free newspapers?" He looked at me, "What newspaper? Is it about Falun Gong?" I said, "Yes, Sir. It is about the truth of Falun Gong. Falun Gong is very good. You can take a look."

Almost everyone heard our dialogue. Then some people started to shout out the lies of Jiang's regime, such as the false claims that by Jiang we were"amassing money", the issue of not taking medicine, how many people died, and so on. I tried my best to patiently explain to them and to send forth righteous thoughts hoping to eliminate the evil within them. I hoped that they could wake up and understand the truth of Falun Gong. Yet they still stubbornly held their opinion and refused to listen to my explanations. However, I believe these people who did not say anything had understood what I said.

The situation at that time was not easy. Despite the fact that I was outnumbered, I asked them one by one whether they wanted the material, since this is my responsibility as well as their right. However, all of them shook their heads. An indignant person even attempted to push me away. I also thought, "the righteous thought should have power. But why can't these people's brains be changed?"

Then the officials started checking tickets. What should I do? I searched inward quickly for my benevolent heart! I know that my benevolence at that time was insufficient. Had I possessed an extremely pure benevolent energy field, their thoughts would have been changed. However, one can only obtain a benevolent heart through cultivation not "calling upon" it.

Watching their furious attitude, I thought, could I let them leave with a wrong understanding about Falun Gong? Wouldn't they waste their time going abroad? Haven't they been waiting for this moment for tens thousands of years? I suddenly had a quick thought. I opened the newspaper to where the picture of the 36 western Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealing at Tiananmen Square appeared. I raised my voice, "The world knows that Falun Dafa is good! Look, 36 Western Falun Gong practitioners were peacefully appealing at Tiananmen Square. Why did they risk their lives to go to Beijing? They wanted to tell the people in China: The world knows that Falun Gong is good. China is the only country that persecutes Falun Dafa. You are being deceived." To my surprise, they suddenly became quiet. Some people even looked at the picture in the newspaper. I was also surprised at my own voice which did not seem to come from my throat but from some place deep inside my body, perhaps from the origin of my life. At that moment, even the surrounding air seemed to thicken.

The elevator slowly went up. Watching their backs, besides worrying about their future, I also felt somewhat gratified. After all, they accepted the fact that 36 Western Falun Gong practitioners risked their lives to go to Tiananmen Square and peacefully appealed; they accepted the fact that foreigners practice Falun Gong and think that Falun Dafa is good. I hoped that they could realize that Falun Dafa is good from this.

Later, when I shared my experience with fellow practitioners, a practitioner said that actually, we need not only righteous thoughts, but also decency. Indeed, the decency of Falun Dafa practitioners is a firm selfless altruistic spirit that can penetrate the sky, has dignity and can suppress the evil. However, decency is not necessarily a high-pitched voice, but originates from benevolence and contains the strength of "Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance". Why wasn't my righteous thought effective at that time? My heart was not steady. The righteous thoughts that we send will be truly powerful when our hearts are firm and our minds are focused and then the evil will be eliminated by it.
