"You Did an Excellent Job"

The last day of the World Economic Forum was on February 4th. It was a Monday and the sidewalks were full of people leaving their work places. Despite the very cold weather, Falun Gong practitioners still performed the exercises peacefully in front of the Waldorf Hotel . This was their fifth consecutive day. The soothing Dafa music, peaceful exercise demonstrations, decorative sashes of unifying color, and a distinct colorful banner that said "Falun Dafa," "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," "Please help to stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" made the petition site very noticeable, catching the attention of passing by cars and pedestrians. There was the appearance of firm faith and boundless force within the peacefulness.

The police officers that had been there for the 5 days developed a deeper understanding of Falun Gong. They could not believe that such a peaceful practice is labeled as "anti-government" and is being persecuted. The number of different cases of persecution that we presented led them to believe those so-called police officers in China display almost no human nature. Some police officers asked for Dafa materials. Some asked about practice sites and wanted to learn the exercises. Some wished us "good luck."

The five days of peaceful appealing also made a deep impression on the business people attending the World Economic Forum. One attendee commented with appreciation, "You did an excellent job." Another said, "I know about Falun Gong. I often visit Beijing; I understand why you are appealing. Good luck to you." One attendee who was about to return home sincerely said, "I work at a university; I would like to learn more about Falun Gong." Two attendees enthusiastically came over and said, "Falun Gong, we like it."

Lies cannot cover the truth. This is why Jiang Zemin is so afraid of Falun Gong practitioners explaining the truth to the people of the world.
