Woman Police Officer Validates Dafa on Tiananmen Square

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Chinese police officer, and I am also a Falun Dafa practitioner. In January 2002, some fellow practitioners and I went to Beijing to validate Dafa during a snowstorm. We went to Jinshui Bridge across from Tiananmen Square and held up banners that read: "Falun Dafa is Good."

It was after 2:00 PM when we arrived on the Square. There were not many tourists, but instead there were armed police, plain-clothes police, patrol guards, and police vehicles everywhere. The atmosphere was filled with evil elements. From time to time, there were Dafa practitioners stepping forward and being arrested on the Square. However, upon seeing this, it did nothing to weaken our own determination to validate Dafa on the Square.

I selected a location and waited. When the time was right and a few groups of tourists (including some foreigners) came toward me, I took off the long coat I was wearing to reveal my police uniform and shoulder strap of First Rank Police Superintendent, and held up a red banner that "Falun Dafa is Good" in golden characters. I shouted with all my strength to the tourists, "Falun Dafa is good, restore the reputation of my Teacher and Dafa!"

Although a group of policemen and guards came up and surrounded me, I remained completely unmoved and warned them seriously, "Don't touch me." They stood back in awe. I then seized this opportunity to tell them and the surrounding people how my family, friends, and fellow practitioners have all experienced dramatic health improvement after we began practicing Falun Dafa. These rock-solid facts fully proved to them that Dafa is a true supernormal science, and that Dafa gave us new lives. The entire audience was in amazement, and some of them even put up their thumbs in approval. Under the mighty power of Dafa, the vicious policemen were restrained, and could only ask me to finish as soon as possible. I told them, "No hurry," and repeated my words one after another to the tourists who were passing by. I stayed there from 4:25 PM to 7:20 PM. Some people kept looking back after walking by and listening to me; perhaps they worried about the consequences of what I was doing. Some people were deeply moved and wiped away their tears frequently, reluctant to leave after they came by.

Huddled around by policemen, I went to their vehicle with them after I was finished. While in the vehicle, I kept telling them the truth of Dafa. They replied, "We know Falun Gong practitioners are good people." We arrived at the nearby Tiananmen Police Station shortly, and a policeman shouted as we got out of the vehicle, "We've got a police officer with us this time." Another responded, "Yes, her rank is not too low either; she's a First Rank Superintendent." I wasn't their typical prisoner. They showed me into an isolated room, and I took the initiative to sit on the only sofa in the room. I said, "I don't stand on ceremony; should I sit here?" They nodded, "That's fine, please sit wherever you like."

My heart was very righteous, so the policemen had to discipline themselves strictly to keep their guard up. What I had done was the most righteous thing a being could do, so my heart was unaffected. Teacher has told us, "...just by having your heart unaffected you will be able to handle all situations" (Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)). With Dafa and Teacher there, I had nothing to be afraid of. I recited Teacher's words in my heart, "I am rooted in the universe. If any one can harm you, he or she would be able to harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this universe" (Zhuan Falun). I sat there silently as if nothing had happened to me.

Policemen came in and out of the room one after another, and I remained absolutely calm and carefree. One of the officers asked, "Where did you get the police uniform? Did you borrow it or steal it from somewhere?" I answered calmly, "I would neither borrow nor steal from anyone." Another asked, "We know you have benefited from Falun Gong. What diseases did you have before?" I replied, "I once suffered from heart disease, rheumatic mitral stenosis, low blood pressure, arthritis and asthma. However, after I began practicing Falun Gong three years ago, I became healthy and never had to take a single pill of medicine again. My husband benefited even more than this. It was Dafa that gave us new lives." At this time, two plain-clothed middle-aged men came into the room. One of them said, "Your rank is quite high. The highest ranking officer here is only a Second Rank Superintendent. Please come with us."

Once stepping out of the gate outside, we got into a police vehicle. At this time, one of the plain-clothed policemen said to me, "Officer, we belong to the same general department." I then began to tell them the truth of Dafa and told them the heavenly law of retribution. They said, "We don't want to interfere with you, but we are forced to." After discussing with each other in private for a while, one of them then said to me, "Officer, you can leave now. We know you are a good person." Through this, the power of Dafa saved two more lives. I left the police station in an open and dignified manner, and rejoined the mighty current of Fa rectification the same day.
