Photo: Mayor of Ipswich City, UK Unveils "The Journey of Falun Dafa" Photo Exhibit

(Clearwisdom.net) February 8-9, the two-day Falun Dafa "The Journey of Falun Dafa" Photo Exhibition was held in the city hall of Ipswich City, a southern British harbor city.

The just and kind mayor personally unveiled the exhibition and made a speech. She said, "Thank you for inviting me to open this Falun Dafa exhibition. There are over 200 exhibits, including video, here today which record the ten year history of the movement. Falun Dafa is an ancient traditonal practice which is peaceful and non-organisational. I am very much looking forward to touring the exhibition and learning about this ancient spiritual practice embracing truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. It is an advanced cultivation system for improving the mind, body and spirit. IT NOW GIVES ME GREAT PLEASURE TO DECLARE THE EXHIBITION OPEN." Then, the mayor released over a hundred balloons printed with Dafa characters to dance in Ipswich's sky.

During these two days of the exhibition, more than ten local practitioners or from nearby cities continuously demonstrated the Dafa exercises and distributed hongfa materials on the square outside City Hall. Many people stayed and watched. Hundreds of people signed the petition letter to show their support.

Several staff members working in the exhibition hall were impressed by the outstanding scene of the Dafa photo exhibition and very patiently helped adjust the frames and arrange the exhibition. They also looked at the photos one by one to learn the truth.
