British Falun Dafa Practitioners Inform Amnesty International in London about the Persecution

On February 14^th, two western Falun Dafa practitioners and a Chinese practitioner were invited to attend the regular meeting of a department of Amnesty International in downtown London. The practitioners were going to introduce Falun Dafa and the persecution that Falun Dafa practitioners are experiencing in China to the attendees.

However, there was an emergency on February 14^th. Four British Falun Dafa practitioners were beaten up and arrested by Chinese police in Beijing. The practitioners had also been expelled from China and they had arrived at Heathrow Airport in London that same afternoon. The western practitioner who was supposed to be the main lecturer went to pick up the four western practitioners and hurried to make it back to the meeting. He walked into the conference room just at the beginning of the conference.

Practitioners introduced Falun Dafa to the attendees and told them about changes in both their bodies and minds after practicing Falun Dafa. They also explained why the Chinese Government persecutes Falun Dafa as well as how intense and shameless the persecution is. They also talked about how Falun Dafa practitioners had not been afraid of death and how they had insisted on peace and rationality, as well as on how they protected their human rights with their lives. Practitioners also introduced the relatives of British practitioners who suffered persecution in China and were illegally sent to Chinese labor camps. They hoped Amnesty International could offer help. Finally, practitioners demonstrated the first set of Falun Dafa exercises for the attendees.

The attendees were all shocked by the cruelty of the Chinese Government. They said they would write to officials of the Party and strongly request the release of Falun Dafa practitioners who were arrested for no reason. Some attendees had practiced qigong before and showed their strong interest in the Falun Dafa exercises.
