In order to better melt into the mighty process of Fa-rectification, practitioners in Shanghai hereby present an important proposal: to declare the week of February 4 to February 11, 2002 as "Shanghai Falun Dafa Week." February 4 is the Spring Equinox -- the start of the spring. February 11 is the Spring Festival when people say goodbye to the past and welcome the new days ahead. During "Falun Dafa Week," we resolve to do the following:

1. Take the Fa as Teacher. We will read at least one chapter of Zhuan Falun every day.
2. Send Forth Righteous Thoughts. Every day at 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00 sharp in the morning, and 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00 sharp at night, Beijing time, for at least five minutes each time, we will send forth righteous thoughts. Let us send forth our purest and most resolute righteous thoughts to completely eradicate all the evil forces that damage Dafa in Shanghai City, Mainland China and the cosmos, encompassing all of them and leaving out none. We will silently recite the Fa-rectifying verse that Master uses.
3. Spread the Fa and Clarify the Truth. Let us take advantage of all favorable circumstances during this special week -- especially the opportunities for visiting our families and friends during the Spring Festival -- to clarify the truth to more relatives and friends, and to help more people learn the truth of Falun Dafa.
