The Violence At Wujiabaozi Forced Labor Camp, Fushun City

(Clearwisdom.net) The violence and brainwashing taking place in Wujiabaozi Forced Labor Camp of Fushun City, Liaoning Province is shameful. In order to force Dafa practitioners to give up their beliefs, the thugs in the camp tried every means possible, such as brainwashing practitioners in an isolated environment, forcing them to do hard labor, depriving them of sleep, framing them, making up false articles claimed to be written by our Teacher to deceive them, and applying physical punishment and torture.

During New Year's Day of 2001, the camp accepted more practitioners, about 20 to 30 people. Jiang Yongfeng, a policeman, always instigates the collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] to treat Falun Gong practitioners very badly. A few days later, newly kidnapped practitioners were sent there. Jiang gathered the collaborators together in a meeting and incited them to abuse those practitioners physically to make them submit before 1 o'clock that afternoon. In order to keep others from witnessing their actions, they kept everyone else in a big classroom, then viciously beat the practitioners. The sounds of cursing, beating, and yelling were everywhere.

A Dafa practitioner, Li Hengliang, was physically tortured by the collaborators. He was not allowed to sleep. He was forced to listen to the wicked attacks against Dafa (12 people shouted at him in turns. Later, they played a tape with the volume at the maximum setting). Jiang Yongfeng shocked him with an electric baton many times. Once, Jiang Yongfeng brought the practitioners to a classroom and forced them to watch the slanderous propaganda on TV. Then he took Li Hengliang to his office and shocked him. Later on, Li escaped and ran into the classroom where the practitioners were forced to watch TV. But Jiang followed him there and kicked him in the back. Afterwards, he sat down and began to shock and curse Li again.

Zhao Liankai is a Chinese Medicine doctor from Qingyuan County. He is over 50 years old. He has been detained in the camp for over one year, but the police cannot change his steadfast belief in Dafa, no matter what means the police use on him. Once Jiang Yongfeng got several collaborators together and ordered them to torture Zhao Liankai physically and mentally in a consistent long term manner, so long as they did not beat Zhao to death. He also claimed this had been reported to the director. To keep what they were doing secret, they confined Zhao in a small, hidden room with no windows. They formed groups, each consisting of three people, to take turns torturing Zhao. Zhao finally passed out on the ground after a few days of no sleep and brutal torture (He was bound in a fixed position, threatened, and cursed). When another practitioner was tortured the next day, Zhao protested their crime. As a result, he was violently attacked again. Zhao's family wanted to visit him when he was severely beaten. Jiang Yongfeng was afraid his conduct would be exposed so he collected those collaborators and stated that he had nothing to do with the Zhao incident, and knew nothing about it before it happened. He stated that the incident was carried out by the collaborators.

Many more crimes are committed against practitioners. Here we can only give some of the details.
