The "2002 Spring Science and Education Lecture" was held on March 2, 2002 in Mid-Taiwan National Library. The first lecture was co-sponsored by the library's Science and Education Center and the Falun Gong Study Association. Professor Chang Ching-hsi, the President of the Falun Gong Study Assocation and professor in the Department of Economics, Taiwan University was invited for the first lecture. His topic was "Exploring Body, Heart, and Mind (1): Get Better Health and Cultivate Xinxing." It was a wonderful event. There was no vacant seat in the lecture hall, and even the seats upstairs were occupied.
