In my family, my mother and I are both Falun Dafa practitioners. My mother is in her seventies. Her health condition and her xinxing [mind-nature] have greatly improved since she started practicing Falun Dafa. She told me the following story, which showed us that when one person practices a righteous way, the whole family benefits.

One day last summer, my little nephew went out to play in the street. A boy riding a bicycle knocked him down and ran over his belly. All the people on the street including that boy were frightened. My ten-year-old niece cried and screamed. She went back home to get my mother. My mother didn't blame the boy. She just told him to be careful in future. When he cried out of fear, my mother comforted him, "It's all right. Everything is fine." When my older brother and his wife came back, my mother asked them neither to blame the boy, nor to extort money from his family. They agreed.

The next day, the boy's parents came to ask my brother and his wife whether they should bring my nephew to the hospital for a medical examination. However, my nephew said he didn't feel any pain. It surprised my family and the boy's parents. They were all glad to save the trouble of going to hospital. My mother told me that she clearly knew the reason. That is, when one person practices a righteous way, the whole family would benefit. I said to my mother, "Because you are a Falun Dafa practitioner, your grandson's accident was used to test your xinxing. Since you didn't treat the accident the same way as ordinary people would, Teacher protected your family. The accident was used to test your xinxing, and everything was fine because you had righteous thoughts." I also told my mother to use this experience to spread the Fa to our friends and relatives. We truly felt how lucky we were to be Falun Dafa practitioners. Obtaining the Fa is the most fortunate thing that could ever happen to us!
