Feng Guoguang, male, was 44 years old this year. Feng was the Mayor of Xiling Town, Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. The authorities arrested him in October 1999 and sentenced him to three years in forced labor camp. Because he firmly cultivated Dafa during his detention, the labor camp guards tortured him ferociously. In mid-January, 2002, he experienced severe problems with his lungs and was sent to the No. 252 Hospital of Baoding Liberation Army. The police guarded his room and turned away all visitors during his time in the hospital. Feng Guoguang died on January 14, 2002.
