A Female English Teacher in Liaoning Province Dies of Force-Feeding
(Clearwisdom.net) March 16, 2002, news from China: A 41-year-old woman, Jin
Lifeng from Huludao, Liaoning Province, died from force-feeding on February 12,
2002.
Jin Lifeng was an English teacher at the Huludao Sailing Technical College in
Liaoning Province. Before practicing Falun Dafa, she was very sick and had to
stay in bed all day long, which prevented her from helping with her daily
activities. While she was receiving treatment in a hospital in Shenyang (the
capital city of Liaoning Province) in 1998, she was very fortunate to obtain
Falun Dafa. Not long after she started to practice, her illnesses went away and
she could go back to work as usual. Her family and colleagues were all very
happy to see her regain good health.
Since July 20, 1999, Jin Lifeng had been persecuted by the police department
because she refused to give up her belief in Falun Dafa. On July 16, 2001,
police arrested Jin Lifeng when she was working in her office. She was sent to
Huludao Detention Center illegally. During her detention, Jin Lifeng requested
that all the Falun Dafa practitioners held there be released. As a result, she
was subjected to even crueler torture. Jin Lifeng went on a hunger strike to
protest the illegal detention and inhuman torture. However, she was brutally
force-fed. On the seventh day of her hunger strike, while force-feeding her, the
perpetrators of this vile and degrading act thrust the tube into her lung,
causing blood to ooze out of her mouth and nose profusely. Jin Lifeng died on
the spot. As usual, Jiang's gang claimed that she died of a heart disease.
