Falun Gong Practitioners Parade and Hold Press Conference in Geneva

March 22, 2002

(Clearwisdon.net) On the morning of March 20, 2002, calling on the United Nations and all people to pay attention to and help stop the Jiang regime's trampling of Falun Gong practitioners' human rights, over 700 Falun Gong practitioners from Europe and other parts of the world held a parade. The parade started from Place Neuve Park, proceeded along Leman Lake and ended on the lawn in front of the United Nations Building.

At 11:30 a.m., a Falun Gong press conference was held in front of the United Nations Building. Numerous officials and legislators from the United Nations and European countries made speeches to support Falun Gong practitioners' basic human rights and to condemn the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong and its ignoring the law and human rights. Their speeches will be reported later.

Many media covered the event in front of the United Nations Building, which ended at 4:00 p.m.
