[Jilin Province] Jiang Regime's "Shoot Practitioners" Order Has Been Passed Down to Village Level Governments
Recently, the authorities have escalated the persecution of practitioners not only in Changchun City, but also in nearby counties and cities. The police are on a rampage, searching for and arresting practitioners. Practitioners in that area, please be aware of your safety and keep a righteous mind. Insiders have said that police had been planning to do this for 2 or 3 months.
Information from government sources has revealed that this recent persecution was related to a few officials of Jilin Province and Changchun City who wanted to gain political leverage in order to move to higher positions.
Police sources said that the order to "shoot any practitioner that can't be stopped from doing Dafa-related work" has been passed down to village level governments. Some just policemen have said, "If this continues the Police System, the Prosecutorial System, and the Court System will be destroyed again. (Translator's note: this refers to what happened during the Cultural Revolution from 1966 to 1976.)

[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Shenyang Practitioners Continue to Clarify the Truth Despite Pressure
After the Changchun Cable TV affair, the police system of Shenyang City held a "Promises Meeting," where local authorities swore to aggressively attack those who violate the social order. Practitioners were included among the targets. The TV station interviewed people at the meeting.
Despite the pressure of this threat, the Shenyang Practitioners still go out to clarify the truth to people and distribute truth-clarifying materials. Even the residential buildings of the Police Bureau of Liaoning Province have Dafa banners hung on them.
[Heilongjiang Province] Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp Tortured Practitioner Ma Yongqian Until He Was in Critical Condition
In November 2001, practitioner Ma Yongqian was detained at the Changlizi Forced Labor Camp for clarifying the truth to people. This young man in his twenties was tortured so severely in the camp that he became very skinny and pale. He was confined in a small solitary cell, where he was unable to stand or sit. Both of his arms were handcuffed in a twisted condition. A normal person would have lost consciousness in a short time, but the vicious police guards locked him inside for 24 hours. Another cruel torture was to strip off his shoes and coat in the winter. Ma Yongqian had to lie on the cement floor without a coat or shoes. When we saw him, he was only slightly recovered from the cold after being allowed in a heated room for half an hour. The coat and shoes he wore were temporarily taken from other detainees by the police guards, and he was so weak that he could only walk a few steps. Not long after we met with him, he was beaten with such ferocity that he was at the brink of death. The guards sent him to the Respiratory Department of Harbin City Medical University First Hospital. We have had no information about him since then.
The criminal responsible for this is Shi Changjing, director of Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp.
[Pi County, Sichuan Province] Pi County "610 Office's" Last Resort
The illegal "610 Office" of Pi County (an agency specifically created to persecuteáFalun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) escalated the persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners. They posted many announcements on the streets and sidewalks, requesting people to identify Falun Dafa practitioners for the police. Informers are to be rewarded 5000 Yuan to 10000 Yuan for each practitioner exposed. The last resort is to direct everyone to curse the Teacher of Falun Dafa. Those refusing to do so are to be arrested as practitioners. My family is now very concerned about my practice. They said, "We are normal people, we can't fight those thugs."
On March 5, the police station in our town took me out of the Detention center but did not release me. After two hours in the police station, a group of thugs came in. They covered my eyes and began to beat me while cursing Falun Dafa and our Teacher. The beating was so brutal that my family members all cried when they saw my wounds.
[Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Recent Evil Tricks in Mianyang
Mianyang City police recently put up posters in some work units that slandered Falun Dafa. Some Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested for tearing down the posters. Seeing that this could be used as a trap to arrest more practitioners, they rehung the posters and waited for practitioners to come and remove them.
The police also hired retirees and jobless young men from the countryside to be "security guards." The "security guards" open residents' mailboxes several times daily to search for Falun Dafa truth clarification flyers. They also hide in corners to watch for any practitioners distributing truth clarification materials.
To overcome this evil plot, we suggest all Mianyang practitioners do the following:

- Use your supernormal power to have the evil people themselves tear down the posters.
- Specify a time to let the thugs receive immediate retribution. Practitioners should not be angry, but have compassion in their hearts to save more lives. The more calm and peaceful your heart is, the stronger your powers are.
- Use your wisdom to clarify the truth and save people.

[Liaoning Province] Practitioners Broadcast Teacher's New Scriptures
After the Jiang and Luo regime secretly gave the "kill without mercy" order to those who persecute Falun Dafa practitioners, policemen from Liaoning province ransacked many practitioners' homes and made arrests. Roadblocks were set up to stop and search travelers, and practitioners' pictures were posted on "Wanted" lists in the railway station. The whole environment is filled with terror.
To encourage the detained practitioners and to deter evil, local practitioners mounted two high-volume speakers near the forced labor camp and the detention center in order to broadcast Teacher's new scriptures. This greatly encouraged the practitioners and suffocated the evil.
[Beijing] Updates on Four Other Practitioners Arrested Together with Zhao Ming
Since the arrest of Zhao Ming and four other Falun Dafa practitioners, I have been concerned about their safety. I paid attention to each report on Clearwisdom.net regarding Zhao Ming. His righteous belief in Dafa, as solid as diamond, greatly intimidates the evil forces. I take pride in having a fellow practitioner such as he. Let me also express my gratitude to all the overseas Falun Dafa practitioners who voice their support for practitioners in China.
Among those unjustly arrested with Zhao Ming, one was paroled after 20 days at the request of his work unit. Originally his doctorate dissertation defense was scheduled for June, but it was postponed to the end of October. Although his dissertation was given an excellent rating after the defense, he was denied his Ph.D. degree. As a result, he has lost the opportunity to continue his post doctorate degree research in a leading overseas institution. Companies in China do not dare to accept Falun Dafa practitioners, and he ended up working at odd jobs to make a living. One practitioner from Shanghai was sent back to Shanghai and unjustly held for 30 days before his work unit took him back on parole. He then went to Beijing to rectify the Fa again, and he was never heard from again. Of the other two practitioners, I only know that one is from Hainan Province and the other from Gansu Province. They refused to cooperate with the evil forces and persisted in clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to the police. There current condition is unknown.

[Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners in Jixian County Arrested, Informers Awarded 5000 Yuan by the Police
Authorities at Jixian County in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province, openly buy the cooperation of villains by promising them a 5000 Yuan cash award for each Falun Gong practitioner reported to the police. (The average monthly salary of an urban worker is about 500 Yuan.) Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Chunyan was arrested after being turned in by one of these misguided individuals. The informer immediately received a cash reward of 5000 Yuan. After the arrest of Dafa practitioners Ai Lingyun and Ma San, the informer was rewarded 10,000 Yuan in cash.
Since the start of the persecution of Falun Gong, the police have illegally fined several Dafa practitioners. They've extorted quite a bit of money from these practitioners. Some say that between 2,000 and 12,000 Yuan has been illegally taken from them.
Wicked people at Jixian County in Shuangyashan City, Wang Guiqin, Wang Jingcai, and Yan Xiaoguang volunteered to betray practitioners and work for the police. They pretended to exchange experiences with practitioners to spread their evil enlightenment. They tried to persuade practitioners to burn Falun Gong books and to sign statements denouncing Falun Gong. Despite their polite appearance, their intention is to persecute practitioners. We bring this to the attention of practitioners so that they can see through their ploys.
