Dear Friends,

I can be with you only in the spirit of Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance. But this spirit is much stronger than the hate and repression that some in the Chinese police system use against the practitioners of the Falun Gong.

I am sure that the Light will modify the hearts of the Chinese authorities who will then see the grave error of their ways.

However, until such a change takes place, we must work together to remind constantly the Chinese authorities that they are morally and legally bound by the International Bill of Rights and universally-recognized standards which are there to protect human dignity.

Your presence today will be a strong message to the Chinese authorities and a sign of hope for those oppressed for their beliefs and non-violent practice.
