List of Falun Dafa Practitioners Illegally Imprisoned in Benxi City, Liaoning Province

1 -- Zhang Cuizhen, a 65 year old former local assistant contact person in Benxi City, went to Beijing to appeal in October of 1999. She was illegally detained in Beijing. In November of the same year, she was arrested. The court of Pingshan District in Benxi City illegally sentenced her to 3 years in prison..

2 -- Jiang Hulin, a 53 year old former local contact person in Benxi City, was captured when he went to Beijing to appeal in October of 1999. He was then detained as a criminal. In November, he was arrested. The court of Pingshan District in Benxi City sentenced him to 4 years in prison.

3 -- Li Zhenwu, a 35 year old former local contact person of Nandi Township in Benxi City, was detained on July 10, 1999. She was then arrested in September of 1999. In January 2000, she was illegally sentenced to 3 years in prison by the Court of Pingshan District in Benxi City.

4 -- Wang Lijuan, a 41 year old female practitioner, was criminally detained on February 19, 2001. On April 25, 2001, she was arrested. The public prosecutor of Mingshan District in Benxi City illegally sentenced her to 3 years in prison because she firmly practiced Dafa, and passed out truth-clarifying materials. She distributed over 250 flyers, over 10 banners, over 10 tape recordings, and over 10 pictures.

5 -- Chen Shuwen, a 48 year old female practitioner, was criminally detained on February 23, 2001. On April 25, 2001, she was arrested. The public prosecutor of Mingshan District in Benxi city accused her of copying and distributing more than 1,000 flyers in the Maofang Semi-District of the Mingshan District in Benxi City. She was illegally sentenced to 8 years in prison.

6 -- Zhou Yuyan, a 61 year old female practitioner, was illegally detained on March 2, 2001. She was arrested on April 25, 2001. On September 3, 2001, the Court of Xihu District in Benxi City illegally sentenced her to 6 years in prison. This practitioner was accused of Xeroxing and passing out 1000 Falun Dafa flyers in October 2000. She also painted the words "Falun Dafa is good," "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" in large letters in Xihu, Caitun and other places.

7 -- Cong Fulan, a 67 year old female practitioner, was criminally detained on March 2, 2001. She was arrested on April 25, 2001. On August 31, 2001, the court of Xihu District in Benxi city illegally sentenced her to 8 years in prison. This practitioner was accused of xeroxing and passing out 4,000 Falun Dafa flyers between April and October of 2000.

8 -- Wang Xianglin, a 38 year old female practitioner, was criminally detained on November 9, 2001. On December 12, 2001, she was arrested. At present, she is in court being prosecuted.

From November 1999 to January 2002, the number of Dafa practitioners in Benxi City who had been illegally sentenced to 1 to 3 years in labor camps had reached the hundreds.

From July 1999 to January 2001, the number of Dafa practitioners in Benxi City who have been illegally detained for 7 to 15 days reached one thousand.
