(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, Jiang's Political Gang escalated its persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. According to information from China, since the broadcast of the Falun Gong video revealing the truth on March 5 in Changchun, Jilin Province, the conservative estimate is that over 5,000 practitioners from the area have been rounded up and practitioners are being tortured to death almost on a daily basis. Dafa practitioners from Changchun City are in a very dangerous situation. In order to stop Jiang's atrocity and call for Canadian people from all social circles to help end the national terrorism in China, on March 25, over 70 practitioners from Ottawa and Montreal of Canada went to Parliament Hill and held a two-day appeal and mourning activity.

In the Square heavily covered by snow, practitioners set up very eye-catching banners reading "Urgent Rescue: Stop the State Terrorism Happening in China," "Stop the Orders to Kill Falun Gong Practitioners," "Recently Over 5,000 Innocent Civilians Have Been Kidnapped, 100 People Have Been Murdered!" etc. On the sidewalk to the Parliament buildings, a row of display boards and banners reminded the passersby of what is happening in China. A huge wreath decorated with white and yellow chrysanthemums expressed our admiration and mourning for the practitioners who have given their lives to hold to the truth.

At 4:30pm, practitioners lined up and mourned in silence for 30 minutes in remembrance of those fellow practitioners who devoted their lives to hold to the truth in China. At this moment, a great sight was displaying in the sky: the setting sun appeared to be especially shining in the clouds; the light pierced through the distance of time and space and tenaciously brought light and warmth to the human world. Time seemed to have stopped.

In the cold wind, practitioners continued sending forth righteous thoughts and practicing. At around 5:30pm, several vehicles carrying a Chinese delegation drove towards Parliament Hill. When the delegation was walking towards Parliament Hill, practitioners shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Stop the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners!" "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!" "Good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil!" The delegation heard and saw the practitioners' appeal on site. At that time, the voice of "Falun Dafa is good" resounded through the skies on Parliament Hill.

About an hour later, practitioners started the candlelight vigil and group practice and sending forth righteous thoughts. Almost every practitioner felt the mighty field of the righteous thoughts.

At around 9pm, the vehicles of the Chinese delegations left the parking lot. Practitioners again appealed to them.

The candlelight vigil was continuing. On the west side of the Square, practitioners set up a screen and kept playing the videotapes of the truth about Falun Gong for the passing vehicles and people. Falun Dafa practitioners' feats were again shown in front of everyone. The passersby and the passengers in the vehicles and buses waved to us to show their understanding and support for Falun Dafa.
