Italian Reporter Holds Art Salon and Dinner Banquet for Zhang Cuiying (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 5, 2002, after attending the opening ceremony of Zhang Cuiying's Painting Exhibition, Italian reporter Laura held an art salon and dinner banquet at her home for Zhang Cuiying to clarify the truth about the persecution against Falun Gong in China. She invited over 40 celebrities including artists, poets, musicians, reporters, and doctors from Turkey, Iran, USA, France, Germany, Australia and Italy. The former Culture Minister of Iran also attended the party.

Zhang Cuiying was invited to be the first speaker. She talked about Chinese painting, cultivation and the characteristics of Falun Gong. The attendees gave her warm applause several times. An Italian poet even wrote a poem on the spot.

After the Turkish reporter talked about the violation of Chinese women's human rights, Italian practitioners followed up and introduced the persecution against female Falun Gong practitioners and Zhang Cuiying's experiences during her eight-month ordeal.

The guests expressed that they would speak out for Falun Gong practitioners. Reporters left their email and postal addresses, and said that they would write reports to let more people know about the truth about the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, especially on March 8, which is World Women's Day.

Finally, they invited Falun Gong practitioners to do the exercises demonstration and applauded warmly. The party ended after 1 a.m.
