1. A good mayor

The mayor of a certain city had observed and pondered the issue of Falun Gong for almost two years. After he learned the truth about Falun Gong, he realized that Falun Gong practitioners cherish virtue and do good deeds, have no tendency to use violence and are no threat to social stability. Conversely, arresting one practitioner would make the lives of almost one hundred people unstable. This mayor has used various means to successfully and unconditionally release nearly all 50 Dafa practitioners illegally detained in the city.

á 2. A good manager

One Dafa practitioner rents space and does business in a merchant market. One day, the police authorities told the market manager that they wanted to see the practitioner. The manager said, "What is your purpose of looking for her? She is the best person here." The officers left dejectedly. The practitioner was told to only pay half of her usual rent when she went to pay rent at the counter. Someone went to the manager and asked for rent reduction also. The manager said, "How can you compare yourself to her? She practices Falun Gong. If you dare to practice, I will decrease your rent, also."

3. "I will let you go this evening!"

One Dafa practitioner clarified the truth to the policemen who were watching him. The policeman said, "I have read a lot of your truth-clarifying materials, and they make a lot of sense to me. All you Falun Gong practitioners are good people. I will let you go this evening."

"If you let me go, what will happen to you?"

The policeman said, "I know how to deal with it. People in the police department all know that you Falun Gong practitioners have supernormal abilities and can get out of handcuffs. Several practitioners have gotten out of here. The police department chief knows all these things and can do nothing but leave it unresolved. Last time when I let one practitioner go, he did not say anything."

"Thank you for your kindness. You will certainly have a good future."

The policeman unlocked the handcuffs, led the practitioner to the door and watched him walk away.

4. Refusing to take "awards"

In April 2001, Changchun City/Jilin Province Police Department superiors used the means of giving awards to encourage its subordinate police stations to boost the persecution against Falun Gong. At that time there were seven police station directors and section chiefs who refused to take the awards. One police station director said, "[The persecution of] Falun Gong is a political issue and it will be redressed sooner or later. When it is redressed in the future, this award will be criminal evidence." One deputy police department director said, "The government was wrong from the beginning, and now it is even more so, because so many people have been killed and so many arrested. Someone will be held responsible. The Falun Gong issue will certainly be redressed in the future. No one should accept that award." At present, there are a large number of both low and high-level officials who do not dare commit wrong deeds at will, because they are afraid of karmic retribution.

5. "You hurry up and run!"

When one policeman searched one practitioner in Tiananmen Square for Dafa-related materials, the policeman said in a low voice, "You hurry up and run. Hurry up, run!" [get away from here]

6. "I certainly do not want any money that will take me to hell!"

After one old man who was in charge of patrolling an area watched a truth-clarifying VCD, he was shocked and said, "It turns out that you were framed! This government is scary!" Shortly afterwards, he said to a Dafa practitioner, "You should be careful. The neighborhood committee director told me that I would be rewarded one thousand Yuan if I caught one practitioner posting truth-clarifying materials. I certainly do not want any money that will take me to hell."
