The Cultivation Story of a Fruit Shop Owner's Family

The family obtained the Fa one after another

I was born in 1964, have three children, and am the owner of a fruit shop in Taipei. Last July I was hospitalized for uncontrolled bleeding from auterine myoma. My brother introduced Dafa to me, and my daughter accompanied me to the nine-day seminar. I was very feeble at the time because of heavy bleeding. After the seminar, however, my whole body felt light and energetic. The following month I again attended the nine-day seminar. Because of menorrhagia, I lost a lot of blood. But treating myself as a cultivator, I stopped taking medicinal supplements and persisted to practice the exercises at the park. When my husband noticed the health improvement in me, he also wanted to attend the seminar. He used to have foot problems that would require surgery according to the doctor, but after obtaining the Fa the condition improved.

My father-in-law had difficulty walking, and when he visited me he came in a wheelchair. After taking him to the nine-day seminar, he insisted and managed to climb the stairs every day without others' help. I visited him during the New Year and discovered that he was no longer wheelchair-bound. Now his condition is much better.

Once my son had a high fever of 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit), but it quickly subsided. My daughter used to be dark and skinny, but now her complexion is fairer and looks much nicer. Dafa is truly miraculous! Lately, my three kids read the Fa for half an hour every day, do the exercises for half an hour, and then send forth righteous thoughts. During the holidays they attend the Clearwisdom School and participate in Hongfa (spread Dafa) activities; they cooperate very nicely.

The family lives in harmony as our xinxing upgrades

Before obtaining the Fa my husband and I had our own disparate likes and interests. My husband had a bad temper, so we often had quarrels; our kids also liked to argue. After my husband started practicing Dafa, he quit smoking, drinking, and other unhealthy habits. He also mellowed, and even did chores he would never have done before. They kids became more obedient, and the entire family had a common objective --- cultivation. The family atmosphere improved and we enjoyed a new found happiness.

Assist the Master in spreading Dafa in the world

It could be said that I grew up on medicine, suffering from numerous illnesses since childhood. Even though my husband and I own a fruit store, I am always busy day in and day out, unable taking time off until my hospitalization last July, during which I obtained Dafa, and I have never visited a doctor since. Dafa amazingly changed me and my family, and miraculous events have even occurred. The more I study the Fa, the more I realize that words fall short of describing the profoundness of Dafa. Thus, I work hard to spread the Fa.

I display Dafa posters in the store, hand out information literature, and introduce the Fa to my customers. My husband and I take turns to attend Hongfa and experience-sharing events at home and abroad. Recently we have established a group exercise site between 2 and 4 p.m. (the least busy hours during the day) at a park 200 meters from the store. This way, we hope more predestined people can obtain the Fa and learn the truth about Falun Gong.

After seeing how fellow practitioners in China are persecuted, watching reports of the SOS campaign, and listening to others' cultivation experiences and composed music, I cannot help shedding tears. With my long hours of work, I often feel there is not enough time for Fa study, doing the exercises, and spreading Dafa. Teacher stated in the last paragraph of teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference that "you have all worked so hard. You have to work and you have to study, you have your family life and social activities, and at the same time you have to take care of your family, do a good job at work, and you have to study the Fa well and do the exercises well, and what's more, you have to clarify the truth. It is hard! It is pretty hard both time-wise and financially. It is hard, so your mighty virtue is displayed; it is hard, and so it is a good opportunity to establish your mighty virtue. Remarkable! Since you are cultivators, even though it is hard you should do even better. That is all I will say."
