A Confrontation between a Dafa Practitioner and the So-called "Help-and-Teach Team"

On the eve of May 1^st, 2002, I experienced another test in the course of my cultivation in the Fa-rectification period. What I have enlightened to through this test is that as a Dafa practitioner of the Fa-rectification period, we should always face the evil with righteous thoughts and always take the Fa as teacher. At critical times, our main consciousness must predominate and our minds must be right. In the face of the evil's "tests," we should entirely deny the arrangements of the old evil force, eliminate the evil force with righteous thoughts, and take every step right in the course of cultivation in the Fa-rectification period.

On the afternoon of April 30, I got a call from my work unit, asking me to go there right away. Upon coming to my work place, the members of the "Help-and-Teach Team" (The

"teachers" are a euphemism for interrogators trained in brainwashing.á They will resort to any psychological or physical abuses in order to force their "subject" to submit.) all had serious expressions on their faces and the atmosphere was tense. A head-to-head struggle between good and evil had started.

H: Are you still yearning for Falun Gong?

H: I really don't understand why you still hold that Falun Gong is good. Does it give you fame or profit?

Dafa practitioner: There is neither fame nor profit [in Falun Dafa]. It is cultivation. What a Dafa practitioner portrays among common people are the qualities of a good person.

H: Do you know you have been regarded as a key person for monitoring by the county's "610" office (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems)? That is really serious.

H looked gentler and added: Your spouse is now unemployed and your son is getting schooling. We have all sorts of means to deal with you. And if you still insist on practicing, what will you do if you lose your job because of that? There are many things that are not even up to us. Your performance at work is excellent. And we all care about you and hope you think about it carefully.

Dafa practitioner: Thank you. I will do what I should do.

L: Wouldn't it be easy if you just said that you won't practice any more?

The Dafa practitioner held righteous thoughts: It is fortunate that sentient beings can practice Dafa, assimilate to Dafa, and assist Teacher in rectifying the Fa. It is a sacred mission and the great duty of a Dafa practitioner. There is nothing that can block my path as I return to my true origin.

Y: There are arrangements from our superior stating that you cannot go out during the holiday season, cannot contact other Falun Gong practitioners, and cannot speak with others about Falun Gong. If you want to go outside you must ask for permission and later report to us where you have gone.

H added: Just use your home phone to report it to us, from exactly what time to what time you are going to be out and at the time that you come back.

H looked more vicious: We possess an enormous surveillance network and have modernized tools and means. We know your every move and every action.

G: The political and legal office, the public security department, and the "610" office all have you listed as the most important of the most important to monitor. We can take any action against you.

H, seriously and with his smile vanished: Falun Gong has been very active, and recently it is getting worse. It is because overseas political forces are backing Falun Gong. It is a serious political issue. You now need to make a clear-cut stand.

The Dafa practitioner paused for a moment and spoke with a peaceful and slow voice: We believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and want to become good people. It has nothing to do with politics. We all conscientiously maintain social stability. No matter if it is now or in the future we will not be against any government nor be taken advantage of by any political forces. We, as cultivators, will be responsible for society, for other people, and also for ourselves. You just set your mind at rest.
