The situation seems to be quite severe, and it is regularly reported by Clearwisdom.net. In this situation, what mentality should we have when reading such articles and reports? Shouldn't we read them with strong righteous thoughts so as to help those arrested get out of the dens of demons as soon as possible?

Master said, "Humans aren't worthy of testing this Fa, and neither are Gods. Whoever touches it commits a sin."("Teaching the Fa at the Great Lakes Fa Conference in North America") Do we have to be tested and persecuted by the evil even if we have omissions? Whether they are attachments or omissions, they are the things we need to get rid of. However, we will take the path that Master has arranged for us, and we should never accept the notion that because we have attachments or omissions we therefore have to accept the persecution by the evil as being acceptable and inevitable. Master does not acknowledge their arrangements, neither should we. Since the principles in both the new universe and the old one allow eliminating the evil with righteous thoughts, then we should keep sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate them, and at the same time, seriously get rid of our own attachments through cultivation practice as quickly as possible so that the evil will have no loopholes to exploit.

The essence of "sending forth righteous thoughts" lies within "righteous thoughts." Whatever we do, we cannot let it become a mere formality. "Righteous thoughts" are manifested in all aspects of our cultivation, and their power is accumulated bit by bit in our everyday cultivation. For example, when our fellow practitioners were arrested, did we view it with righteous thoughts? Did we help our fellow practitioners with righteous thoughts? When the so-called "sensitive days" approached, did we deal with them with righteous thoughts? Those "sensitive days" were the old forces' excuses for their persecution. Then, what would happen if we did not accept them as being "sensitive" when they came?

As for us practitioners free from imprisonment, have we ever thought about that although there is the factor of improving xinxing and breaking through the old forces for those who have been arrested, isn't there also a need for every one of us to realize our own shortcomings? Master said, "No matter what trouble you encounter, no matter what makes you feel unpleasant inside, and no matter whether on the surface you're right or wrong, if you are to truly regard yourself as a cultivator you should always examine yourself for causes." I think we need to ask if our thoughts are righteous strong enough, and if we have viewed things we encounter with righteous thoughts at all times and in all situations? Also, isn't it the case that we have not done well enough in eliminating the evil recently so that the evil has been allowed free reign, which has intensified the persecution? Regarding this, Master said some time ago, "What you eliminate from your own mind are ones which have an effect within the expanse of your own body; at the same time, you need to eliminate the external ones, which are directly related to the dimensions you're in. If you don't eliminate them, then they not only persecute you and restrain you, but also persecute other students, other Dafa disciples." ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.) From this point of view, every one of us is responsible to a certain extent for the arrests of our fellow practitioners, and since we all share the responsibility, every one of us should take the initiative to support them in every way we can.

This is not their own tribulation, but persecution directed at Dafa and Dafa disciples. We are one body. How can we have any excuses not to wholeheartedly help arrested practitioners with righteous thoughts?

When we have improved and elevated as one body, the evil would not be able to find any more excuses to persecute us, and in turn the evil would have been eliminated by us, just like what Master said, "In the end, it will change due to our own breaking through of cultivation levels, I guarantee it is so."
