World Journal (Chinese Newspaper): Falun Dafa Practitioners to Hold 10-Year Anniversary Celebration Banquet


(Clearwisdom.net) World Journal [one of the largest Chinese language newspaper in North America] reported on May 1 from Vancouver, Canada: Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) practitioners point out that Falun Gong is an ancient cultivation practice that originated in China and that it teaches people to become good people and cultivate their hearts according to the principles "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." Since it was introduced to the public in May 1992, Falun Gong has spread to over 50 countries around the world in just 10 years.

Vancouver practitioners will hold a banquet to celebrate Falun Dafa's 10-year anniversary and World Falun Dafa Day (on May 13) and they sincerely invite people to come. The event will include the following activities: announcement of the proclamation that the Vancouver city government has given to Falun Gong, TV programs and films about Falun Gong, photo exhibit, performances, and dinner.

The banquet is to be held in the library in downtown Vancouver from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday, May 12.
