Dafa Practitioner Ms. Dai Chunhua Killed in Siping City Detention Center, Jilin Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Dai Chunhua was a 33-year-old female Dafa
practitioner who lived in Lishu County, Siping City, Jilin Province. Ms. Dai
worked as a nurse in the county hospital. On February 17, 2002, police arrested
Ms. Dai and sent her into the Siping City Detention Center. On March 9, 2002,
her family saw her body in a morgue in Siping City. It was also learned that two
more practitioners were arrested at the same time as Ms. Dai, because thugs who
wanted reward money [the police listed Dafa practitioners as wanted and
offered a reward for their capture.] reported them. In order to protest the
persecution, Dai Chunhua held a hunger strike in the detention center. Ms. Dai Chunhua obtained the Fa in 1996 and had made diligent and solid
progress in cultivation. On New Year's Day of 2001, Ms. Dai went to Beijing to
peacefully appeal, and as a result was arrested and escorted back. She was
further persecuted and was forced to quit her job. In order to avoid being
illegally sent into a brainwashing class, Ms. Dai had no choice but to leave
home and move frequently to avoid arrest. Remembering that many people in her
hometown were still being deluded by the evil's lies and slanders and did not
know about the truth, Ms. Dai risked her own life and returned to Siping City,
where she used her meager savings to make Dafa materials. The evil thugs
advertised her as "wanted by police with reward for capture" and later
the greedy thugs reported her. The Lishu County area where Ms. Dai was from is known for its poverty.
Furthermore, Ms. Dai's mother is more than 70 years old and Ms. Dai's son is
only eight years old.
