(Clearwisdom.net) Some people often have deep notions -- they only believe what they can see. Even if we clarify the truth further, they still will not believe it and will claim that we have overstated our points and will doubt our source. I feel that in order to offer salvation to this kind of individual it is a good idea to let him see a scenario that is different from his or her preconceived notions.

I have a colleague who once was very much against Dafa. Whenever I wanted to clarify the truth to her she turned a deaf ear and refused to listen. Preconceived notions blocked her. I gave her some Dafa bookmarks that I had collected. It made her happy to see the serene and friendly pictures on the bookmarks. I approached her again at another time and gave her some Dafa materials. Not only did she not reject them this time, but indicated that she would take them home and look them over. She now knows that Falun Dafa is good and has also been reading Zhuan Falun.

I once saw some impressive photos on the Internet, showing thousands of fellow practitioners in Mainland China performing group exercises together. I thought that if someone tried to convince people that the atmosphere at that location was not good, nobody would believe it. Anyone who could see this scene would probably change his or her previous, negative opinion of Dafa. They might arrive at the conclusion that with so many people practicing Falun Gong, it must be worthwhile. It has to be good!

It seems that everyday people generally hold the belief that it is possible for a few people to be kept in darkness, but the chances for great numbers of people being deceived is quite low. When their suspicious minds have cleared, it will be possible for them to think things through and it will make it easier for them to obtain the Fa later on. That is probably the reason why after they have participated in a large Fa promotion activity, it is easier for them to understand and support Dafa. This may provide the impetus they need to learn Dafa.

It is impossible in China at the present time for hundreds of people to do group exercises together. Outside of China, though, there are opportunities at holidays and other events to gather practitioners from regional exercise sites to hold a huge, common Fa promotion event at places where many visitors will assemble. This way, the number of people who could be exposed to and see the benefits of Dafa might be enormous. An event like that might quickly change people's minds and obtain a positive attitude and understanding toward Dafa. A large gathering like this would achieve results that are perhaps otherwise impossible to produce.
