Presenting the Beauty of Falun Dafa to the People of Delaware, U.S. (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In Spring, Delaware is full of flowers, and the serenity and beauty of Falun Dafa make the spring here even more vibrant. The beautiful Dafa exercise music can always be heard in the major community activities here. People can always see the peaceful, smiling practitioners. At the end of April, practitioners were invited to attend two local health expos. On May 12 and 13, the "Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition held at the University of Delaware attracted much attention from the students, scholars and local residents, who were eager to find out more about Dafa. On May 13, Governor Ms. Ruth Ann Minner proclaimed that day as the "Falun Dafa Day" in the state of Delaware. She also encouraged people to learn, to understand and to support Falun Dafa. On the first day of June, Dafa practitioners were invited to join the annual "Newark's Night."

Newark is a college town. It has nearly 30,000 residents including over 20,000 students from over 100 countries, areas and different states in the U.S. "Newark's Night" is a very lively traditional activity in this little town. Thus it also provided a very good opportunity for practitioners to spread Falun Dafa. Starting from 5 p.m., the whole street was filled with bustling crowds. The Falun Dafa booth was set up in a central location on the street. Zhuan Falun, exercise instruction videotapes, other Falun Dafa books and literature were displayed at the booth. Practitioners also set up a TV and VCR to play "The Real Story of Falun Dafa" and "Falun Dafa - Exercise Instruction." One after another, people stopped to watch. Some inquired about the exercises, some asked for Dafa materials, and some even left their names and phone numbers, hoping that we would inform them of the time and location of the next exercise instruction workshop. Many spectators attentively watched the videos and praised them warmly. Some even imitated the movements.

During this particularly boisterous "Newark's Night", the serene Falun Dafa booth had a unique style and attracted a lot of attention. In less than 3 hours, all of the over 800 specially prepared packages of Falun Dafa introduction literature for this activity were distributed. Practitioners had to take out other Dafa materials to satisfy the demand for them.

Mr. Biden, the Delaware State Senator also visited our booth with a reporter. Mr. Biden asked one practitioner: "What are you selling?" The practitioner answered with a smile: "I'm not selling anything. I would like to give you as a present the most wonderful thing that I have." Senator Biden gladly accepted the Dafa introduction and truth-clarification material. The reporter quickly captured the scene. Shortly after the Senator left, the preparation committee of the Wilmington "Citizens' Festival" came to hand us an invitation to attend their festival in August in Wilmington, the largest city in Delaware.

In the current cosmic climate, people are longing for goodness. Attending the activity of "Newark's Night" gave us deeper insight. We felt that more and more people are willing to learn about Dafa and thereby support Dafa and condemn the Jiang regime's persecution of Dafa practitioners in China. We also believe that upon establishing righteous belief and good will from finding out what Falun Dafa is about, more and more sentient beings will have a wonderful, bright future when the Fa rectifies the human world.
