Dear Mr. Li Hongzhi,

It is with great pleasure that I extend this invitation to you today.

Over the last three years I have come to personally know many practitioners of Falun Dafa here in Canada. They have personified the essence of your teachings of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance" in their peaceful and tireless efforts of expose the horror the persecution faced by Falun Gong in China and to introduce the universal beauty of this teaching to Canadian people.

I am proud to be the first Member of Canada's Parliament to stand by Falun Gong practitioners and help voice their concerns. And I am pleased to see many dozens more of my colleagues now step forward to do the same.

I admire the teachings of Falun Gong -- "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance." I have seen them reflected by countless courageous, peaceful and determined practitioners in China and in Canada, even under such unprecedented and brutal persecution. Your teachings exemplify the finest qualities of humanity and society. Accordingly, I am indeed greatly honored to extend my most sincere invitation to you to lecture in Toronto during Canada's Second Annual Falun Dafa Festival this coming weekend.

Thank you for all you have done, Mr. Li, for Canada, for China and for humanity. I hope that you are able to accept this invitation to lecture in Toronto this weekend. It is my pleasure to continue to support Falun Gong and do all that I can bring an end to the persecution in China.
