My Understanding of Teacher's Four Recent Articles

(Clearwisdom.net) While in St. Petersburg, Russia, on the second day of round the clock sending forth righteous thoughts, I felt a sudden surge of energy circling on the crown of my head. Three of Teacher's latest articles, "Entering the Gate of No Life," "Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions," and "The Difficult Path to Godhood" flashed into my mind. I experienced the sudden feeling of Teacher's tender care and encouragement.

As I understand it, the article "Entering the Gate of No Life" condemns the evil, rectifies the deviated principles, and offers salvation to all sentient beings. Fa-rectification is the mission of Dafa disciples. Hence, Teacher wants us to keep up with our "righteous thoughts and righteous actions." To bring out the power of righteous thoughts, mercifulness, truthfulness, purity of mind and an upright mentality are required. Therefore, the article "The Difficult Path to Godhood" asks us to hasten our progress in this regard. We must be determined, take solid steps and continue to the end. I am thankful for Teacher's enlightening message.

On June 7, as soon as Teacher's "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston" was published, our local practitioners held a group Fa-study. After reading the lecture together, the atmosphere in the room changed. It became harmonious and conciliatory, engulfed by mercy and peace.

Teacher said,

"A Dafa disciple should put the Fa first in everything he does--whenever you evaluate something you have to consider the Fa first."

"... try your best to walk a righteous path, and try your best, in all environments and with everything that happens, to conduct yourself in an open and dignified manner, to be tolerant and broad-minded, to be able to understand others, and to be able to consider all perspectives. Then, I think you might be able to do a lot of things well." (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston)

Diligent Fa-study and solid cultivation practice are the foundation of a Dafa disciple's progress. Since we still have attachments, we are able to validate Dafa in all respects during the course of our cultivation practice, and because we still have attachments, opportunities will continue to present themselves for us to look within and uncover our deeply rooted notions. The key is whether we can face the issues calmly and with a clear mind when problems arise, and regard them correctly. From now on, we should persist in every endeavor to, as Teacher says, "take the Fa as Teacher" and "put the Fa first in everything." We should endeavor to act selflessly at all times. With close attention to generosity, tolerance and understanding, we will achieve harmony among practitioners as a whole. Only when we have achieved this will we have met Teacher's expectations of us, and will we be "worthy of the title 'Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple.'"
