(Clearwisdom.net)

Falun Dafa practitioner Xie Jin, a 39 year old man holding a master's degree is also a lecturer from the Chongqing Post and Telecommunications Institute. In the middle of April 2002, he was tortured so severely that he suffered from mental collapse at the Xishanping Labor Camp. On December 31, 2001, Xie Jin reported the facts of the persecution to the visiting cadres from the Chongqing Judicature Bureau who came to inspect the Xishanping Labor Camp Strict Control Squadron. Afterwards, squadron commander Tan Wei beat Xie mercilessly, hitting him 50 times with a big stick. The next day Xie Jin had a high fever and was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.

At present, the situation of Falun Dafa practitioners illegally imprisoned in the Xishanping Labor Camp is extremely critical. We hope kind and just people around the world pay attention to the worsening human rights conditions there, and extend their support in order to protect good people and stop the evil deeds from continuing.
